Meet Abby
Hi there! My name is Abby. I’m looking for a family that will love me so much they’ll make me a scrap book. Wait. This just in. I thought a scrap book is a book full of scraps such as a leftover nibble of burger or perhaps one quarter of a meatloaf, but turns out scrap books are just full of photos.
Okay, well, that’ll be good too, I’m very photogenic and my new family will want to take piles of photos of me. I’m a black and tan German Shepherd, but this time of year it’s better to call me black and pumpkin. Pumpkin is trending right now.
I am young at just 3-4 years old. Potty and house trained, basics. I love toys! I’m a recreational chewer but not in a “yikes what happened to my rug way”. I haven’t been destructive but will need plenty of outlets for my choppers, chompers.
I did test positive for heart worms, it’s quite a trend with neglected dogs. Don’t fret though. There is treatment and the rescue covers the cost!
I was saved in the Nick of time or well the Abby of time in my case. My start to life wasn’t with a silver spoon in my mouth, I didn’t even have one of those little wooden spoons that comes free with an ice cream cup. You’ll need to change all that and give me a life of my dreams.
