We could not do the work we do without the support of the following people and business.  The pups thank you!

Dr. Stacie Virden is a generous supporter of German Shepherd Rescue both financially and through adoption. She states: "Sascha, on the left, was a stray from a neighborhood dog's litter in Dec 2007-Jan 2008, and we adopted her at age 14 weeks from GSD Rescue Central Texas.  And Lily is one of the tripods from the summer 2009 litter from south Texas where the breeder removed dew claws at home.  We adopted another dog, Lily's brother Jack who also came from that litter.  We have been working with our rescue ever since."

Design It Yourself Gifts & Baskets is a huge supporter of helping animals in need and have done so much for GSDRescueCTx. After Hurricane Harvey in 2017, they opened up their warehouse in Houston, TX to help displaced dogs and cats; giving them a safe place until rescues or owners could get them. They worked tirelessly helping several horses who were severely  neglected. DIY Gift Baskets helps cut down the overpopulation of the feral cats in their area by doing the humane catch and release program in addition to finding stray cats a home or rescue. So if if you’re looking for some outstanding cat or dog gift baskets for your furry friends or family, know you are supporting a compassionate small business that helps  so many of the 4-legged voiceless!

From the owner: I have always had a love for dogs. ... "my passion for dogs developed during my service on active duty as a Military Police Officer. During my tour in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation New Dawn (OIF/OND), I conducted checkpoints with explosive detection MWD’s (military working dogs) and trained with local Iraqi Police Departments to conduct proper checkpoint/security searches. In addition to my military experience, I graduated from Starmark Academy where I received my certification as a canine Trainer and behavior specialist...

Harvey Kronberg and his late wife, Michele have been adopters, fosters,
huge supporters and donors for many years. They have given so much not just in monetary donations, but their time to do the "Honey Do's", volunteering on Meet and Greets, help coordinate and participate in dog adoption events, walk dogs, foster dogs, poop scoopers, and always provided the mental and emotional support to our other volunteers. Very caring people. Michele - we miss you dearly. Harvey publishes 2 online news services - The Quorum Report and Texas Energy Report besides owning Austin Flag and Flagpole
