Sofia is a gorgeous girl. She was surrendered to a high kill shelter because her owner said they could no longer care for her, and was terrified. She has come a long way but is still a work in progress.
Sofia was probably an only dog, and does not seem to have been around people much. She bonded to her foster Mom immediately, but is very leery of other people, and needs work in that regard. She needs an experience and patient owner, and for now would NOT do well in a home with children. We think it best she go to a quiet home with low to no traffic in the household as she does not do well at all with people she does not know and is very slow to warm up to them.
Sofia is doing well learning to interact with other dogs, so would be fine as a single dog or with another confident good natured one.
