Meet Monty
I have been with the rescue for a long time now, because I have not done well at initial meet ups. I am very protective of my person, which is currently Foster Mom. Once you earn my trust, my happy playful silly dude side comes through, but you won’t see that immediately.
My formal name is a state, it’s Montana. Foster Mom calls me Monty and Monty Python. It suits my comuttical personality. Plus she cracks up when she calls me that, I just humour her. Basically my role as a dog…making my person smile even if I am the butt of the joke.
I do understand potty and crate training. I can’t say I am a fan of the crate notion, but as I understand it is part of my agreement to stay here and be fed. Here at Foster Mom’s house all the dogs are bigggggg like me and I do get along with them. I have not met cats.
I am 3.5 to 5 years old, but still very much a kid at heart. I am looking for a quiet home that doesn’t have a bunch of strangers coming through. A home that doesn’t mind breaking through a hard outer shell to get to my good parts. One with FOOD too, I love food.
