Let me introduce myself. My formal name is Montana but foster mom calls me Monty and even Monty Python sometimes. I’m not sure where she got that but she seems to think it’s funny so I humor her. I like it much better here than I did at the shelter. I had playgroups there but most of the dogs there didn’t care for me much. I never could figure out why except probably because  I was so much bigger than them. I have lots of friends here and I get to play a lot more.  They are a lot closer to my size although I am bigger than some of them . I don’t really like being crated but I put up with it because that’s part of my agreement to stay here and I really do like it. The food is great and I get a lot to eat and I have gained weight. I was really thin when I got here but I’m filling out now. I’m kind of a tall lanky lean guy but I should fill out more as I mature. I’m also kind of a big kid at heart too. I just want to be friends with everybody and love to play but I’m just so big that I guess I can be a bit much at times.

I would do really great with some training and I did get a tiny bit at Star Mark but caught my leg in the kennel  bar and had to come home to rest and now the class is full. But they said I did really well and if I’m not adopted by the time the next one starts they would love to have me back!  I would probably like little kids but I’m so big that I might knock them down as I am a bit of an oaf or so foster mom says. But larger kids would probably be fine with me. I haven’t met any cats here and I’m not even sure what one is so I would have to meet one to see if I could coexist with it or not.

So now you know my story and if you give me a chance I promise I will make you proud. So please fill out an application for me!

Love, Monty
