                                      Mandy - Baby Female

What a sweetheart who seems to have known no stranger although she was dumped at a high kill shelter where she had no hope. Owners said she "can't be trained" and " got out" - well apparently so with not enough supervision she had gotten out and probably hit by a car as she has an injured back hip. We are asking for donations to help with her surgery.

She is just the most lovely cuddle bug, appears to be in no pain but does walk with a limp, but hopefully if enough big-hearted donors help us out we can make her good as new. She might need supplements to help fight of arthritis one day but we don't know that for sure right now- know more later as we get more info on her.She just loves to have you hold her head and rub her - it's like she just cannot get enough loving. She is gentle but like all puppies she has sharp toenails and sharp baby teeth.

She is underweight, another sign her "owner" neglected her- who could learn anything at that young of an age and living without the proper care and food! NOW she is in a loving foster home awaiting her prognosis...but whatever it is she is worth it and she would make some family SO HAPPY to have her.

She has been given a new name to start her new life. Mandy means "worthy of being loved." She definitely deserves love. After her sad start to life, she is still happy, playful and outgoing despite all of the unpleasantness of her former life. Mandy was given several toys when she got to her foster home - she couldn't get enough of chewing and playing with them. Mandy loves the tennis ball that she found in her crate. She is happiest when someone is with her, but has spent some time playing quietly on her own in her crate. Despite what her former owners said, she is smart and will be easily trained because of her desire to please her person. We know that one day she will find the family that knows her worth and will love her no matter what.
