Adoption Application

The form below is a way for us to gather some basic information for an initial screening.  Please do not leave out any information on the application.

Copy the text below and paste into an email and send to gsdrescuectx@yahoo.com.  Please include your name in the subject line when sending in your application. You should receive follow-up contact within 48 hours.

You are required to provide three personal references and a vet reference on your application.  Please do not apply if we can not verify the vet history, including heartworm prevention purchases and yearly vaccinations of current and past pets. After you application is approved, we will conduct a home check to make sure your home is safe, secure and ready for a dog to live.  When you are approved for adoption, then we will set up an appointment for you to meet the dogs.  We ask you bring all members of your family ( 2 and 4 legged members) to meet with the dog you would like to adopt.  Our dogs live with foster parents, most of whom work regular jobs and are located in Austin and surrounding areas. The final step is to complete the adoption contract.
