Meet Tinker
Am I giving soccer Mom mini van vibes? Or fun Auntie too much soda pop and no bed time vibes? Trick question, it’s both. At the last Meet & Greet, I had a playful amusing time bouncing around with two young pups, but didn’t take too much smack talk from those ankle biters either. I used to be a Mama dog and came into the rescue in very sad shape, puppies will take a toll on the figure, you know. But now I’m fattened up in a good way and feeling 23 again! Or just 3 in dog years. I had a literal and figurative ball playing with the puppies at the Meet and Greet, and kind of miss having little ones to nudge around.
I’m spayed now and my mama days are over, unless whoever adopts me has a puppy for me to claim, nurture, and play with. I am very gentle, but definitely let puppies know I am the adult authority figure. All the volunteers found it sweet to watch. My name from the shelter was Tinker Bell, but I’m not the fairy, my Foster Mom is the fairy godmother. Literally turned a pumpkin into an SUV to get me the heckin out of there. I go by Tinker for short.
But please don’t be short on food or treats because I enjoy eating. Foster Mom was feeding me a bunch, but now that I’m an appropriate weight, she’s being a bit stingy in my opinion! Please note you can use treats to get me to do anything such as go into my kennel. I don’t know too many commands yet, but with the assistance of doggie biscuits, I will learn. I get along with other dogs, but prefer younger puppies over older dogs. One of my favorite pass the times is chewing the hooves or buffalo horns or filled bones, Nyla bones, etc.. My first 3 years of life were not remarkable to say the least, but I’m ready for the next decade to be something right outta a fairy tail book.
