Meet Tate
Hi potential adopters, my name is Tate. I am not sure what I am named after, but I sure am hoping it is short for tater tot because I LOVE FOOD. I came into the rescue underweight at 65 pounds and I am trying to pack on the pounds now.
I have a dark sable coat that random folks will compliment us on. They'll say "Where did you get that handsome chap?" and you will proudly say "I adopted him" and then you will probably go on a date, eat tacos, start a relationship, get married and live happily ever. Yep, I make a great wing man.
Speaking of wings, lets talk about chicken, turkey or beef or pork. Wait. I guess pork and beef don't have wings and that is why they say "when pigs fly" for something that will never happen. But then someone needs to explain buffalo wings to me.
Anyway, I love all the meats. Just reiterating my love of yummy stuff. I also love to play with the other dogs here at Foster Mom's house.
I am described as very playful, of course, at 2 years old, I am young and fun. Foster Mom has taught me house and crate training. She is also starting me on some basic manners. You will need to continue helping me on that, as young dogs do need some reminding.
I did test positive for heartworms, but that should not be a deal breaker as the treatment will get me a-okay in no time. I am a bit of a talker compared to the other dogs here. So let's talk about me and you getting together for tacos or tater tots or *insert your favorite meat here*.
