Meet Sadie
Hellooo friends. But only if you are a dog or a human. If you’re a cat, not hello to you, because to me, you are a chase object, not a friend.
How did I get such a glamuttrous tail? They think I’m mixed with a big fluffy white dog, so I’m a 70 lb German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix. You get some extra hairy pizzazz.
But I’m not just a pretty dark face and golden ombré coat. I’m also athletic, smart, and sweet. I am young at approximately 20 months old, but I’ve already completed and passed beginner and intermediate training at PetSmart. I walk very well on a leash and I can do Sit/Down/Leash/Side/Heel.
My favorite hobby is to stroll and sniff. My Foster Family says I’d also be a great running companion. Of course, not on a Texas summer day, but in these cooler months.
I very much enjoy learning and Foster Mom recommends getting me Canine Good Citizen certification so I could go on to be a therapy or comfort dog. Because my fur is very comfurrrrrting.
Oh my, did I just speak cat! No. Remember, I adore people and other dogs, but no cats or small pets please as I have a very chase urge.
At my current Foster House, I’m left for up to 10 hours a day with a doggie door. I don’t enjoy my human being gone so long, it’s quite frankly offensive! Who would want to be away from me anyhow! Therefore, I have some separation anxiety which is exhibited by my very enthusiastic welcome home every day.
My skin and tummy are sensitive so I’m eating a kibble called Science Diet sensitive stomach and skin to keep me trouble free and no upsets.
Foster Mom recommends me highly for an active couple or family. I enjoy doing things with you even if it’s just a ride in the car or sleeping at your feet.
Please consider me!
