Meet Rory: The Energetic, Cuddly, and Clever Pup Ready for Her Forever Home!
Hi, I’m Rory! I’m a German Shepherd mix with a BIG personality and boundless energy I might be a little shy when I first meet new people, but once I get to know you, my true personality shines. When I feel comfortable, I’ll want to spend all my time by your side—and belly rubs? Oh, they’re my favorite! But don’t let my love of cuddles fool you—I’ve got tons of energy and love racing around the yard with the big dogs in my foster home and watching the squirrels with my brother, Ryker.
One of my favorite activities is turning the living room into my personal racetrack.
I’ll zoom around as fast as my little legs can take me in a game of chase or keep away! I also have this cute little trick I pull when my foster parents come to take a stick, leaf or anything else out of my mouth (oops!), I’ll roll over and show my belly to see if I can keep my treasure.
I’m also a very wise and clever pup for my age. My foster parents say I’m a quick learner, and they’ve taught me a special trick when I’m unsure of new people or objects. They hold their hand palm out and say, “Check it,” which lets me know it’s safe to approach. It’s helped me feel more confident in new situations!
Oh, and let’s talk about treats—biscuits and beef tracheas? Yes, please! They make me one happy pup. I also have an abundance of toys to play with and will happily spend hours tossing, chewing or chasing my favorite ones!
