Meet Romeo (*Note from Volunteer: Romeo isn’t a bragger so he didn’t mention it, but he is also incredibly handsome and his coat colors make a stunning combo. He’s just as pretty outside as inside.*)
Did you make a New Year’s resolution? I did not, I’m already really great and feel it’s the years that need to do better! Not me.
My first 2 years or so of life were pretty miserable and I ended up at a shelter in Houston in very skinny pathetic hungry forlorn conditions.
My Foster Mom got me fattened up and despite my previous years being lame as heck, I’m looking forward to 2026 being the year that Romeo gets his groove back.
I’m described as one of the sweetest dogs ever and get along with all the other dogs and people. I’m playful and young.
I am somewhat okay with cats, but if you have a cat, of course, it depends on the cat. So you would just need to use caution and proper introduction.
Overall, I am eager to please and learn new things easily. For instance, car rides were new, but I do a fine job at it.
I’ve been quite tolerant of so much and my disposition is great. Unless you are a chicken. I prefer my chickens in nugget or sausage formats!
