Meet Rita
Yikes y’all! I just made it out of a Texas shelter by the skirt of my pants, or whatever human expression is for “just in time”. I was there with puppies and my pups were all adopted or rescued and I was just there worried by myself.
Not anymore though. I’m in a Foster Home. I was extremely underweight when first brought home from the shelter. Feeding pups takes a toll on a body.
I enjoy eating a bunch and I’m highly food motivated. The good food is making my beautiful yet rough coat look thick and glimmering.
I sleep in my crate through the night. And I’m potty trained and could probably learn so much if you give me food and treats.
I am more of a human focused dog than a dog focused dog. I will bond quickly to a human, so I would be good as an only dog. It’s not that I’m rude to other dogs, it’s more of indifference.
So if you’re the type of person that really wants a furry companion to stay by your side, I’m a great choice.
