Hi there! I bet you’re wondering why my name is Rascal. Well, Foster Mom thinks I’m a bit mischievous although sweet as can be and she called me a little rascal so it just kind of stuck.  I love to play with other dogs, and I really love to steal their toys or chase them and act like I’m going to steal it. Carson is one of my play buddies and he really likes to keep the ball to himself, but I’m determined to make him share. I think he gets a little annoyed but that’s OK it’s so much fun!

Well, I didn’t really have anybody to take good care of me for a while and I got those nasty heartworms. But Foster Mom has already started me on the slow kill, and I can still play with my friends and go on walks. They’re just in the early stage so that’s good and it shouldn’t take me too long to get over them. Foster Mom will send all my medicine and instructions with me to my new home. I haven’t met a dog yet that I don’t like, and I really like people too, but I haven’t met any little ones yet. Or cats. But I’ll give it a try if that means finding my forever home! Foster Mom says it would be good for me to get some training as I’d never been on a leash before. I’m not wild about the crate but I will go in there for her, and I eat in there and sleep and it’s not so bad.  I’m getting used to it.

Anyway, if you would like to meet me and have me come live with you and be your new best friend, please fill out an application.

Love, Rascal
