HI! I'm Meeko!

Let’s start off with my initial shenanigan when I came to my new foster home and gave my foster Mom some gray hairs.  On day one, 10 minutes in checking out the yard, I almost leaped the 6 ft fence in a single bound! I was just scared and confused and didn't know where to go.  Foster Mom yelled at me so I didn’t jump the fence. She ended up putting a Super Gurl cape on me because I am able to leap tall fences in a single bound!

Fast forward 2 months. I did hang up up my Super Gurl cape because I just feel the love and safety here and I don't wanna be on the lam anymore.

I do have some zoomie spurts of chasing and killing a stuffed binky toys. (Cue Law & Order music: Dun Dun). My favs are these little tiny binky squirrels. BUT NOT the real Squirrels that run along the fence. I saw what's on the other side of the fence and say "Meh! I like this side better!" Good kibbles, good snacks, good binkies, good belly rubs and rots of ruv! I'm all in!

As in ALL in..... Ummm.... Personal boundaries? Space? I don't have those. I need to be close to my foster Mom wherever she is. Like underfoot, under recliner, under table, under bathroom toilet legs. Not sure why she tells me NO! GO! Get out of the bathroom!

No, I don't have separation anxiety. Sheesh. I learned from the beginning when foster Mom leaves, she's not LEAVING me. I know when she gets back, I get a new toy AND treats! I love my crate now. I run to it to eat snacks or mid day lunch.

I do like to stay close to foster mom. She thinks it's because those "other humans" left me to fend fur myself for months until someone got me out of the traffic. When I first got here, she checked me for a microchip and I did have one! She reached out to the "other humans" to give me back. They didn't want me and they even waited 4 days before looking for me. I knew then I wasn't wanted so off I went in search of a new family. Will you be my new family? I give lot's of kisses, know how to sit, (working on stay), give lot's more kisses and even help foster Mom vacuum; I show her where she missed some dog hair.

If you like a velcro follower, that sits, "kind of" stays, plays in the yard, and is a quiet fur friend that just wants to hang with you - I'm your shadow furever.
