Meet Mavis

There is this whole new diet fad for humans where they eat in a calorie deficit to lose weight. I was doing that diet but not by choice! I was previously neglected and came in thin but now I’m about 70 pounds. No more calorie deficit for me, I want Allllllllllll the calories please!

Foster Mom gives me a treat when I get in my crate so I rush to my crate super fast. Sometimes Foster Mom is being a slow poke so I have to open my own crate door and get in there to remind her that she needs to hustle, make haste, go fast, no turtles. Gimme my food!!!!

Okay, so I think y’all get the idea right! I’m a hungry eager to eat girlie! But I do stay fit with exercise and activities such as playing with my ball. See! It matches the grass.

I also play nicely with my foster sisters and have plenty of energy. Foster Mom says I’m silly and smart and fun and really the full package. I would be great to train and teach.

She doesn’t think I’ve had much training and could use some work in my leash skills but with lots of treats, I am sure to be a quick learner.

Since I do enjoy engagement and activities, if I am an only dog, I would probably need someone who’s home most of the time. Having a sibling to play with and hang out with would be nice.
