Meet Marta
It’s very obvious from one look at my face that the first part of my life was absolute rubbish. I mean some dogs only worry in life is “will I catch that squirrel today” or “will my human gib me the salmon flavored treats or bacon”. My life was fraught with actual worries such as “will I be fed today at all”.
Foster Mom says I don’t have to worry bout that anymore. She remembers to feed me every day. I love to eat. She also showed me all about house and crate training. I’m happy to oblige because it seems a square deal to get square meals a day.
I’m not a very big German Shepherd. I’m gentle and love people and dogs. I came in with 2 other dogs that are thought to be my children. I was in far worse shape than them. So of course, I have heartworms and I’m being treated.
I’m looking for a home where I can experience a life full of non-worry type of worries such as “how am I ever gonna get my bone toy that rolled under the couch”. Heck, I’ll just be happy if you remember to feed me.
