How come when people can’t dance, they say something silly like “I can’t dance, I have two left feet”. I literally have two left feet and I happen to be a very jiggy dancer. I dance to the beat of the kibbles hitting the bowl. Music to my ears, tummy and heart.
Besides getting happy feet when it’s time to eat, I also get that pitter patter feeling when I know we are going on a walk. I also feel the happy vibes when I hang out with my foster brother. I love being included as a family member.
That reminds me. I want to publicly thank my Foster Family including their Golden Retriever for letting me crash at their place till I get adopted. I do hope they know that my tail wiggles mean thank you in dog. Slobber also means thank you.
It is absolutely mind boggling how many sizes and shapes and colors that dogs come in. Right? I sure hope someone likes my size, it’s about 70 pounds and my shape is the exact silhouette that you’d draw if someone said, “draw a dog”. The perky ears, the whippy tail, the perfectly symmetrical eyeballs. Balls! balls! I like the ball.
The Rescue Lady thinks I likely have a pinch of Labrador Retriever mixed in with my German Shepherd. Cool! Maybe me and foster brother are distant Retriever cousins. I have never retrieved any gold or lab doors, but I do like to fetch the ball and I think that counts, right?
My Foster Family is putting me on the right track by making sure I’m house and crate trained. The fact that they welcomed me into their home has made me eager to please them. I would be a very good pupil if taken to training, probably even Valedictorian or Valedogtorian in my case, since I’m a dog, and a girl.
I would love to be part of your family too and show you my happy tail and feet. So please please put your name on my dance card because I’m looking for a partner.
