Magnus is a typical German Shepherd puppy that is full of energy and spunkiness. He loves playing with the other dogs in his foster home. He is always up for a good chase around the yard and then some snuggle time on the couch.
Magnus loves food and treats; he also likes playing with the toys available in his foster home. He really enjoys soft squeaky toys, but they usually don't last very long before he has them torn apart and is trying to eat the stuffing.
Of course, being a puppy he is still in the early stages of learning, he is very treat motivated so would learn basic commands very quickly. Magnus is house and crate trained. He will at times take a little bit to get settled down in his crate but give him a good bone to chew and that usually does the trick. He prefers to be with his humans so would like a home where he could just hang out all day with them if he could. Magnus would be fine as an only dog or with a playful, laid-back dog friend that will be tolerant of his puppyness and who will help him burn energy.
Magnus has not been around children in his foster home, but we feel that he would be fine with older children. He is past the mouthy stage but is still working on not jumping.
Magnus is a handsome boy and would make a great addition to an active home that will provide love, structure and good leadership. If Magnus sounds like he'd be a great match for your new family member, please fill out an application.
