Meet Maci
Hi there! Foster Mom calls me Maci because it is quick and easy to say, but my shelter name was Manzanita! What a mouthful. It is a form of the word apple in Spanish. And I definitely do want to be the apple of your eye. Not literally though, it’s a figure of speech that means I would be very important to you, and you would be very fond of me.
There is a soda pop called Manzanita as well and I happen to be bubbly and fizzy too. Even though my paperwork says I am 4 years old, I have the activity of a 2-year-old and love to play and run around the yard with my foster mates.
I am sweet and fun, about the only time my sassy part comes out is if you put me in my crate before I am good and ready to go in there, I bark about it for a little while, but then calm down after a short while. You have to get me tired out before popping me back in there.
As all the other dogs here, Foster Mom has taught me house and crate training. I would love a home where I can be loved and get lots of attention. More training would be great too, I really want to learn so much more. If you love pretty girls, you would love me, I just know it. C’mon and put me in your eye as an apple, or whatever you humans say!
