Meet Lyla:
Hi everyone, I’m a dainty leggy 40 pound German Shepherd mix. Moooo! Or whatever deer say, because I look very Bambi, very fawn, very deer.
I was adopted from a shelter in Houston and then returned to that same shelter a year later.
I was a deer in the headlights to say the least. Too petrified to even move.
Foster Mom Rhonda has done wonders with me as you can see. It helped a bunch that she has so much food and treats.
I am really into cuddles and adore tummy rubs. I’m a very, very sweet pup. Even at the shelter, I was scared but chose to go into statue mode rather than bitey mode. So I’m shy but not aggressive.
I am learning to feel safe and will even walk on a leash now. I’m incredibly playful and enjoy having fun times in the yard.
I have a smaller frame so I’ll always be cute and smaller so you can consider me a forever puppy.
