Meet Lila

Dear Diary and all the nosey people online reading this,

It’s Day 36million and 53 in a Foster Home. Okay, well, it’s actually been since May 2024, but I am a dog so calendars are nonsense to me. Two Christmases, two summers, two too many days.

I am a good girl. Say it again. I AM a GOOD girl. My foster mates Heimdal and Hazel will vouch for me. Heimdal says he adores me and I smell better than a bacon cheeseburger wrapped in a quesadilla. If thats not a gleaming testimonial I dont know what is. And Hazel says that I’m second prettiest, she’s first, of course.

I sure hope a family with a doggie door adopts me. Having the freedom to choose my potty time just makes sense. I’m 4 years old, I shouldn’t have to bug a human to let me out.

If my new home has a crate - well...... I think they should sleep in it, not me. I enjoy my days and nights to be foot loose and fancy free.

Foster Mom complained again today about how strong I am on the leash. Again. So I do hope I get an adopter with some upper body strength OR if Sandy (Sandra Bullock) wants to take me home - I'd be ok with that cuz she gets me. Gee, i hope Foster Mom doesn’t read that part, i know she is a petite lady and do appreciate her! Especially the food she gives me. But Sandy? I could pawsatively hang with her.

I really just need these humans to stop slow poking around and get me into my final destination so I can start training my new family to give me 36 treats per hour. Is that too much to ask!

Over and Out Diary,
Lila
