Meet Lailah

My name is Lailah, lay as in the potato chip and lah as in falalala. Not to be confused with the other foster dog name Lila. She’s a different dog at a different foster home.

I came from the shelter, super skinny, but I’m filling out now that I’m getting lots of delicious food.

I am a social gal and just want to meet other dogs and be their friend and play. My play style is very fun in my opinion but is very ruff and tuff so your own dog would need to enjoy a wild style. Here at my rescue home, my best friend Ace thinks I’m the best play bud ever.

As all the dogs here, I am enjoying meal time the most, of course after having been half starved. It’s so comforting to know a human will provide food everyday. I am fed in my crate so that I don’t wander off and take slower eating dog’s food.

I don’t have leash manners yet , but I am very sweet and want to be a good girl. My general nature is nice so just adding that training polish will really make me sparkle.

Despite being just 18 months old, I did test positive at a low level for heartworms. The rescue can discuss that treatment with you.

I am a really beautiful girl. I was so scared at the shelter but really shine in a safe setting so please give me a chance to be your gem.
