Meet Kelly

Hi people! My name is Kelly with a “y”?  I came from West Texas after being taken to the shelter. I was on borrowed time and the sand in my glass was about run out. Eek, I squeaked by the skirt of my pants or whatever y’all humans say to barely have made it.

My name is spelled Kelly With A “y”, howlever, we might switch it to Kelli with an “I” because there might not be an “I” in team, but there’s one in Kelli. Yes, I’m going somewhere with this…..

I do get along and live with dogs, but I can be a bit dominant depending on the other dog. I did live with a large male sibling before and was the boss of him. There was an older male that I was overly domineering with. But on the other hand, I’m living with a young small dog from France, he’s part bull and part dog, or something. Body small , ears BIG, eyeballs, HUGE. Very cute and VERY into me, so we get along.

So again, to reiterate, I’m good with dogs but do want to be in charge, so your dog would need to be cool with that.

I am a beauty, quite unique looking with a certain “it” factor that can’t be explained, but you can just feel it. I’m a BIG girl. There is 90 pounds of me to enjoy.

I am extremely sweet, human motivated, and do want to please, so the larger size is not too unmanageable. I take direction. I have met a cat and with work and guidance, I’d likely co-exist well.

Life handed me tomatoes so let’s make spaghetti or life handed me peaches and I got in a jam. Wait. Life handed me a lemon and I’m hoping we can make lemonade or spaghetti, or whatever! You know what I mean.
