Meet Karl, currently in boarding and needs a foster or adopter
When you think of German Shepherds, what words come to mind? Loyal, alert, confident, intelligent, with a slight aire of grandiosity.
Just as the blonde Barbie is stereotypical Barbie, I am indeed a stereo typical black and tan German Shepherd. Independent but adores my human also.
The rescue lady says, I won’t be for the faint of heart or weak person, I’ll need a strong leader that I will respect. In other words, someone who is familiar with GSDs and competent in guiding us to our full potential.
I do however, request, a slightly weak person who will indeed gimme a piece of their chicken tender if I stare them down with my big beautiful sappy brown eyes. Drool included.
I hope you enjoy a strong boy and are ready for a loyal friend.
- Neutered male
- 4 to 5 years old
- 80 pounds
- Current on vaccinations
- Just finished heartworm treatment will need to be tested in 6 months
- House and crate trained
- Doesn’t really like to be crated but he is fine with it now
- Good with people
- OK with some dogs but dominant
- Not tested with cats
- Not children tested (probably not OK with toddlers due to his large size)
- Microchipped
