Kano Pupdate: Kano is alot more relaxed than when we first pulled him. He’s a handsome boy and nice size. He was scared at the shelter and he’s still cautious at his Foster Home. Looking for a patient and loving home for this sweet boy who has likely never known much kindness.

Meet Kano

Er, uh, hi, I guess. I’m a little scared to be doing my bio but I’m going to do the best I can. So let’s start with small talk, the weather right is very you know sun and stuff and sports, yay ball, go, team. I’m not too good at small talks.

I’m a calm, very quiet and shy type of guy. I was rescued from the City of San Antonio Animal Control and it was frightening to be there. Very loud and smelly with odors I don’t recognize. The only thing I wanna smell now is sausage and bacon cooking on the stove.

I am a work in progress, but I’m very sweet and doing great at my potty training and crate training.

I will walk on a leash a little bit but mostly just stop and lay down. I will need patience and time, so a house with a secure yard where I can potty is better than leashes potty walks.

I am looking for a nice home where I can decompress and learn that life isn’t too scary if the right human is taking care of you.
I do walk pretty good on a leash, no pulling or anything, but am still a little timid when something is going on during our walks so I lie down on the sidewalk to regroup and know that everything's ok.

I am really good with cats! And of course other dogs that are here in my foster home. But I prefer a quiet house where I can get the calm love that my furever family will give me. Will you be my calm loving friend and take me home?
