Meet Joey

Joey! First let’s start with saying I’m a Miss Joey, a girl. I was saved from City of San Antonio Animal Care Services.

I am a reminder that beautiful GSDs end up at city and county shelters every day with just 72 hours left in their sand glass.  I am a lucky one who made it out. Although safe, I still need a permanent place to call home.

I am estimated to be about 4 years old. At the shelter I was social with both male and female dogs and people. However it was noted that I didn’t always respect other dogs space but was easy to redirect by handlers.

I am new, so the rescue is still learning more about me. If you’re interested in learning more, please apply and start a conversation about me.
