Hi there, I’m a bit shyer than the other dogs and new at this. The Volunteer said a good way to calm the nerves is to picture everyone in their underpants. Whoa. Okay, maybe I’ll skip that part! Besides, I’m more looking for a people who wears a cape like a super hero, underpants are optional.
I had a lot of heros speaking up for me when I was at the shelter with a right rear leg ouchie. At the shelter my name was Esmeralda and people were typing “save Esmeralda”. Somehow I had a rope tied tight around my leg. I had rope burns and my skin was off. It was pretty awful. Thanks to my hero Foster Mommy, I’m all better.
Foster Mom changed my name from Esmeralda to Izzy. She said my first name was tooooo long for such a petite gal. I’m only 40 lbs and underweight, but my overall physique is medium not large. Foster Mom says I’m a mini Shepherd and the best things come in small packages.
Unless you’re a chicken apple sausage treats. You should always get the biggest package of treats. I love to eat. I also love hanging out with my foster pal Obi. He has my same coloring and we came from the same shelter. Foster Mom doesn’t know for sure, but she thinks we might have a history together because we acted like besties immediately.
Me and Obi are available together or separately. But it is always nice to have a buddy friend, it makes the world less scary. That reminds me, I’m house and crate trained, but I don’t like the crate. I like to be by Obi.
