Meet Hildi
There is a reason why several of my photos are action shots. The volunteers want to give you an accurate description and I’m more Mountain Dew than Chamomile Tea on the energy scale.
I was rescued from the shelter in Houston. It is called BARC and believe me, I made it live up to its name by barcing in my kennel. I was saying “please get me outta here, I got running and jumping to do”. I love activities!
Foster Mom says I’d make a great jogging buddy or nose work dog because I need to exercise my body and mind. That’s more eufurmisms for “she’s high energy y’all”.
I’m good with most dogs but can be a bit reactive if the vibe is wrong, I’m very high strung. I do best with calmer male dogs that exude confidence. I’m not aggressive just need someone who understands my cues and is familiar with dog body language.
I was very excited for my ride outta the shelter and have really enjoyed my free time in the yard and the oppawtunity to get my energy used up.
I also love food! I was underweight when I got here, but I’m filled out now. Hildi is the short version of Brunhilda. Imagine the nick names that can roll outta that, we’re gonna have some fun.
