Meet Harper
My name is Harper. Is that Sesame Street song “one of these things is not like the others, one of these things just doesn’t belong…” popping in your head right now? I am indeed a Belgian Malinois, not a German Shepherd. A pair of Jay’s in a sea of sensible business shoes. A pereguine falcon in a sea of pigeons!
Okay, don’t tell the other dogs I called them pigeons! I take that back. I do get along with all the dogs here. I love people too. I am potty and crate trained and all that boring stuff that people expect from good girls.
Very true to the stereo types and rumors, I am a ball of energy. Ball! Ball! Did someone say ball? Oh, that was me. No Mister Potato Head families are allowed to apply. I need an active family. You need an exercise motivator, choose me. Drop and give me 50. Fifty doggie biscuits, not push-ups. I am very food motivated.
I don’t want to “harp” on this, but again, Belgian Malinois dogs look similar to German Shepherds but we typically have more pep in our step and I am no exception. I will be a great training partner, as I aim to please my human and will do anything for treats.
I am a very sweet dog and as long as you understand my breed’s needs. Ha, I made a rhyme. As long as you understand my training and exercise needs, you will be incredibley pleased to call me your dog.
