Meet Freya

Close your eyes. Now imagine the most ideal dog. Voila! Open your eyes. It’s me! Freya. The dog of your dreams. A German Shepherd more classic than a 57 Chevy baby bird blue.

I am a loyal girl and previously operated as a freelance emotional support doggie for my human. Unfortunately hard times fell on us and I was relinquished, sadly to find a new home. We are heart broken but it’s for the best for me to find stability and permanence.

I do walk well on a leash, but I am so good at staying by my person on walks that my previous owner never leashed me. I stick to you like a Homegoods price-tag on the bottom of a vase. Seriously, why are those so difficult to remove!

As my name implies, I am a goddess that LUVs  everyone, so I’m good with kids, dogs, and people, not that kids are not people too, but they get their own slot worth mentioning.

Luckily, since I was well cared for, I’m healthy and Heartworm negative. I enjoy car rides. Foster Mom says the best thing is that I am intuitive and try to please very hard. To correct me, is very easy, just say in a nice normal voice “no Freya, don’t do that”. And then I don’t do the thing that you were no’ing!

Foster Mom has been so nice! She feeds me grain free food because that keeps my tummy happy. And she has let me taste test other foods. Fun!

I give a yum or yuck. Canned salmon. Yum! Canned tuna. Yum! Canned sardines. Yuck! Fresh peaches. Yum! Canned peaches. Yuck!

If you adopt me, you will be getting a very good loyal girl. You will be so pleased with yourself on making good choices because I’m a peach! A fresh one, not a canned one.
