Fancy is my name and fun is my game! And I am just as sweet as I look. I found myself at a shelter and I was really confused how I got there but now I’m taking applications for my forever home. I did have puppies and I guess when the puppies were all gone, they decided they didn’t want me anymore. But with some good food and plenty of exercise at my Foster Home I’m regaining my girlish figure. I guess they didn’t take very good care of me anyway because I was very skinny, and my fur was kind of ratty and I have those nasty heart worms. So, I try to be positive and decided did that the best thing that happened to me was being dumped at the shelter so that I have a chance at a new life.
I’m getting a new coat and it looks much healthier than my old one. And I’m gaining weight and I feel and look so much better already! They started me on the slow kill heartworm treatment which is very easy to follow and will give all the meds and directions to my new home. If my adopters want to do the quicker version, we can discuss that too. I think I like the slow kill better because I can still act like a normal dog and play but you just wouldn’t want to make me go running with you.
I am house and crate trained, and we all eat in our crates just to make it less confusing. I am very trustworthy and haven’t had any accidents. I get along really well with the other dogs too. I haven’t met any cats or children but I’m sure I’d get along with the children. Of course, I’d have to meet them. I’m a little on the small side so if you don’t want a really big dog, you might want a more petite one like me. So please fill out an application for me if you think I might be the one for you!
