Copper here, taking applications for my new home. My former family left me at the shelter because they were moving and couldn’t take me with them.  My name is copper because of my beautiful red coat. It was actually Cooper but there was already a Cooper and it just seemed to fit. You can call me whatever you want as long as there’s food involved. I’m quite an accomplished eater; in other words, I’m really good at it and it’s one of my favorite things to do!

I love to play with other dogs, and I have lots of that puppy energy so I might be a bit much for smaller dogs and really young children. I love people and I’m gentle, but I might accidentally knock little ones down. I met the resident cat when I went to the vet and he didn’t even get up and move, he just let me sniff his tummy. So, I might be OK with a cat but if it ran, I would probably chase it to play. That’s my other favorite thing is playing. My favorite playmate here is Rascal. She and I have a great time chasing each other.
Well, I really hope I’ve convinced you to consider adopting me. I am a lot of fun and have lots of love to give to you. And I have plenty of puppy energy. Oh by the way I do sleep in my crate through the night and I haven’t had any accidents in quite a while. I did at first but I was getting used to a new place and new food but I’m fine now and ready for my new home and the next new adventure.

So please apply for me today!

Love, Copper
