Let me introduce myself! Someone named me Ciara which I’m told is a really nice smelling perfume, but it doesn’t smell like bacon or chicken, so I’m not really impressed. Oh, did I say that’s one of my favorite past times is eating? I’m quite good at it too! I was very thin when I got here but foster mom has all kinds of yummy goodies. So, I’m filling out and my code is getting shinier, and I feel a whole lot better too.

I don’t think anyone ever gave me heartworm prevention because I’m really young and I still have those nasty heartworms. Foster mom has started me on a slow kill method that I can still run around and play while we get rid of them.  If we do it the quicker way, I have to be really quiet for two months and I don’t think I could do that. I finally got housebroken and crate trained  and it took a while.  Poor foster mom, I kind of gave her a hard time not on purpose but just because I didn’t really understand. But I’m so proud of myself I haven’t had an accident in quite a while in my crate. None in the house!

I do like to chew things; the Buffalo horns are my favorites. I’m not destructive as long as you give me plenty of things to chew. I’m learning to walk on a leash as I had never really done that before. I have lots of foster brothers and sisters here to play with and I do really well with them. I don’t like to be crated and left alone so I would do much better with someone who works from home or is the stay-at-home mom and I really do love other dogs. But if I got all of your attention, I’d probably be OK too. Anyway, if you would like to give a sweet deserving pup a home, I’m your girl and please fill out an application for me.

Love, Ciara
