Ciara
Quick Stats
Someone named me Ciara which I’m told is a really nice smelling perfume with floral notes and accent of musk, which I imagine is a somewhat French accent as Pepe le Pew was a skunk and skunk squirts are what musk comes from. But honestly if it doesn’t smell like crackling bacon or crumbchy chicken, I’m not really impressed.
Okay, so that reminds me about food. I love it. Eating is a hobby of mine. The hungry caterpillar ain’t got nothing on me. I was very thin when I got here. Foster mom has all kinds of yummy goodies. I filled out, my coat is shiney and I feel better on the inside too.
I am housebroken and crate trained. According to Foster Mom “it took a while“. Poor Foster Mom, I kind of gave her a hard time....not on purpose but just because I didn’t really understand. She said it’s okay, I’m still a good girl and it’s not my fault that no one taught me basics fundamentals. Which are not “fun” by the way...fun-duh-mental...what a weird word.
Since I’m only 1to 2 years old, I do like to chew things; the Buffalo horns are one of my favorites. I’m not destructive as long as you give me plenty of things to chew. Tell me yes for this and no for this and I’ll get it. I’m learning to walk on a leash as I had never really done that before.
I have lots of foster brothers and sisters here to play with and I do really well with them. I can be very loyal to my person, so other dogs in the home will not have to mind if I call dibs on their human. That being said, I would probably do well as an only dog too since people are my first priority and dogs are my second priority.
Due to the fact that I don’t find the crate a fun place to be. Zzz zzz! Snore fest. See I fell asleep just thinking about that bore box. I would do much better with a family that works from home or has a stay at home Mom or Dad.
I’m really young and I still have those nasty heartworms. Foster Mom has started me on a medicine to start obliterating the worms. It’s the slow method that I can still run around and play while we get rid of them. If we do it the quicker way to treat heartworms, I have to be really quiet for two months and I don’t think I could do that. I like to play a lot and not playing for 2 whole months, oh no.
Foster Mom says I’m a truly sweet and deserving girl who just didn’t have a good start in life but you can now make my future very fun, like really fun, not just fundamentally speaking.
