Meet Chesney
How do you do? My name is Chesney. I am a girl dog with a very pretty sable and tan type of coat, quite a stand out from all the striking black and tan doggies hanging about my foster house. The highlights around my eyes do look as if I play a lot of golf whilst wearing sunglasses, but this is just my natural golden frames *bats eyelashes*.
I am estimated to still be under a year old and weigh 70 pounds, so Foster Mom thinks I will likely gain a few more as my adult body comes in. Even though I am one of the younger dogs in the squad, I am one of the calmest. Or at least “calm for my age”.
I have done well around other dogs. I did briefly meet a cat and did suprisingly well with that critter too, but further testing would be required to ensure your cat finds me tolerable. At my Foster Home, I do enjoy dinner in my crate, breakfast too. I guess crates are the B&B’s of the dog world. What else? Oh, I am potty trained and quickly learned the doggie door.
I am looking for a home with humans that would love to continue teaching me how to be a good girl. Humans that know how to open jars, this is non-negotiable, as I cannot open jars and that is where treats hide.
The first step is to complete an application, then we can do a meet and greet. When choosing a mouthwash or breath spritzer for our meet up, may I suggest filet mignon or pepperoni as opposed to minty fresh if your audience is a dog. Hope to meet you soon.
