Meet Beverly – Your New Best Friend!

Hello, what’s that? Let me tilt my head to catch the words better. Oh yes, I am the good girl. Why do humans ask “who’s the good girl?” Isn’t it quite obvious! It’s me.

My Foster Humans call me Beverly. At just 2 years old, I am a gentle old soul with a heart full of wisdom beyond just a couple of years. I have not only the classic GSD head tilt but also the classic black saddle with pretty blonde fur coat.

I am eager to please and an incredibly smart cookie. Speaking of cookies, I am greatly motivated by treats so I am always ready to learn new tricks.

Whether I am lounging on my favorite fluffy bed beside you or enjoying a peaceful walk with the family, I simply want to be close to my people.

And if that wasn’t enough to convince you to add me to your family portraits, I am great with kids, walk beautifully on a leash, potty trained, and close to fully kennel trained—an all-around good girl!

My bleakest day did turn into sunshine, I was found in the Oak Forest area of Houston, TX near a known animal dumping site, recovering from injuries likely caused by a car.

Thanks to plenty of rest, loving attention, and good meds, I am healing wonderfully. I feel so much better, I have even rediscovered my playful side—especially when tennis balls and Kong toys are involved!

I am ready to find my forever home and become a cherished part of a loving family.
