Meet Belle - *briefly pauses to wait for your obligatory courtesies*

Ehmmmm.... I have arrived, in case you don’t know who I am, my name is Belle with an “e”. E for excellent, exceptional, ethereal and intelligent…oh, so you don’t normally spell intelligent with an “e”, well now we do.

The camera adds 10 pounds, as they say, because although I appear large and in charge. I’m only 40 pounds. So I’m marge and in charge. Very petite, as are most fancy royal ladies. I’m a solid medium and a great size for people with weak arms.

My sable coat is impeccable. The swirls of amber waves and cinnamon sugar will have people gasping and saying “who is she?”. I’m just a dog who was rescued from the City of San Antonio shelter standing in front of a human, asking to be your dog.

I insist on being an only pet. Due to my regal nature, I do NOT associate with other four legged creatures. Dogs, no. Cats, even more no. I’m not aggressive towards them, I just have no interests in peasants.

I do have interest in humans. Especially humans who feed me. I am treat motivated. I also have plenty of energy and I am very affectionate to humans.

I am fairly good on a leash and would do well with lots of walks. I am looking to be an only dog. I might even consider doing peasant activities such as fetch if I could be in a yard alone with a human.

My Foster Mom has lots of other foster dogs. Quite frankly, it’s beneath me to be here with them. Please save me. I’ll let down my hair and you can climb up the tower. It’s not that high, it’s a single story house.

See you sooner than later.
