Meet Alita

Hi everyone, my name is Alita. Foster Mother calls me a pocket-sized German Shepherd because I only tip the scale in the 40’s compared to all the other giants around here being in the 60 and up range. I do gobble up my food as if I am trying to fatten up though, eating is my best hobby.

I am gueesstimated to be about one year old and even at this young age, I already tested positive for heartworms, so I will need to be treated for those. I am already taking a medicine to help. You can hide my medicine in cheese or something, I will pretend I do not know it is medicine. Foster Mother can tell you more about it. She knows everything.

I am potty and crate trained. I am playful and fun and sweet. I love the other dogs here. At Foster Mother’s house there are no children, but I did stay at a temporary foster house with children for a little while and I was a good girl.

I am a great listener and have mastered the German Shepherd head tilt so that I can at least pretend as if I am interested in what you are blah blah blahing about. My hearing is so good, I one time heard a Mommy tell her child to behave with her eye balls, yes, I can hear eye balls. Can’t you?
