Gimme an “A”, gimme a “J”, what’s that spell? *pauses for response* No, seriously humans, what does that spell, I’m a dog, so I don’t excel at spelling. But I do excel at learning fast. Day one in my Foster Home, I was so excited, I jumped up on my Foster Parents. They told me that wasn’t allowed. So I quit that nonsense, immediately.

But guess what is allowed! Playing Throw It all day. Ball is my ultimate joy. Foster Parents keep the launcher on a ledge with a few balls and I run right to it to show them what I want to do when first entering the back yard.

My Foster Parents learned fast too, because they know what I mean when I go to my ball launcher. Someone give them a treat. I go after the ball and return it after each throw. Most times. Sometimes I need to be told to “drop” the ball, but all I want is for these humans to throw it again. Fun!

Exercising me with the launcher has helped to keep me calm when indoors.  If a Foster Parent is working in the room, I am just happy to have a human there and settle quickly so the human can do work.

I am a beautiful, sweet boy but also young and energetic. So I have a SECOND ball game. Yes! Foster Parents bought me a “Wobble Wag Giggle Glow in The Dark” ball. It keeps me entertained when I am all by myself. It makes odd noises, and I to push it around with my nose and paws.

I will make someone a great pet, if they know what they’re doing. Exercise is the key, my mind and body. I want to please my people and am very ball and treat motivated.

Additionally if you’re working in the yard, I will do my best try to help you on your project. I’m doing my best hunny. Even if it seems I’m just getting in the way. It’s my best!

Anything else? Hmmmm, true to my breed, I’m very good at alerting to any Amazon or UPS truck that dares to approach our house.  How dare you!

Foster Parents say “AJ is a quick, very enthusiastic learner. He will make someone a great pet.”
