Meet Ace
Hi! My name is Ace. I am sweeter than a pop tart and just as poppy. Hop hop pop! I wanna hippety hop and say hello to humans and dogs.
I’m weighing about 40 pounds at about 1 year old and might still gain some poundage. I’m a smaller stature Shepherd but also underweight due to previous neglect.
Foster Mom says my final weight will be a surprise! Sounds fun! She says I look to have more growing, but won’t be huge. I seem to be smaller boned but going through a growth spurt now that I am eating healthy food and lots of it.
I was adopted from a county shelter at 8 weeks old and then ended up at another shelter 9 months later, skin and bones weighing 24 pounds. My temporary Foster Mom got me fattened up and was so kind while I was feeling very sick and weak.
Despite being underweight, I never lost the ounce or bounce in my pounce and I enjoy playing with other dogs, I’m fairly submissive and very sweet.
As with all puppies, I enjoy teeth exercises and chew on things but I am not a destroyer. I am crate trained. I know “sit” and try very hard to please the humans a bunch.
My best hobby is eating. Specially after being starved, having a full tummy is such a nice feeling, I want my belly to be happy, you know, not growly.
My first year of life was not the best, but I’m happy to get a second chance.
