                                      Spice - Young Female

Spice is an incredible girl. She is a strong-willed dog with tons of spunk. Spice will need someone that understands the GSD breed and is ready to give her a job. She learned how to "Sit" and "Down" while at the Dogadillo event. Not an easy task with many people and even dogs in costumes walking past her. Despite all of the distractions, her focus was inspiring. Spice is highly treat and food motivated and wants to please. She started to do her new tricks before even being asked. She will be a joy to train because of her attentiveness and willingness to learn. Spice enjoyed the attention she was given from many kids at the event. She would ever-so-delicately take treats from their little hands, without snapping or lunging for the treat. Spice even met a lady in a wheelchair and climbed right into her lap!

Spice has a prey-drive that someone with no GSD experience may find difficult to handle, but with an experienced owner Spice will be highly motivated and trainable to do just about any job you could ask her to do. Spice would thrive in a household with no cats and no small dogs.
Spice is friendly and gets along with 90% of the dogs at the rescue but she will need to meet any new furry friends she may end up living with to make sure everyone gets along prior to adoption. She also likes being with people and enjoys being inside the house. She won't be able to be left alone outside as she is curious and can jump a 5 ft fence to go exploring.
She is a beautiful girl, no one can deny that, as she got many compliments at the event on how stunningly beautiful she is. Spice needs someone that can harness her energy for good use and be with her and bond with her so that her confidence and fearlessness can be demonstrated in a positive way for her breed. Whatever she does, Spice does it with all of her heart. Don't live a boring life, add some Spice to your life!
