Seneca arrived in rescue on Saturday, November 19, 2016 with her pups. All puppies are safe in other fosters homes and will be posted on our website soon.
Our lovely lady Seneca is over her itchy demodex, and is spayed and micro chipped and ready to go to her new forever home. She is such a sweet girl and loves to play with her foster brothers and sisters. Her coat is growing in with almost no sign of her former hair loss. Seneca is very human focused and loves to just hang out with you when she is not playing with the others. She has also started chasing a ball, something that was completely new to her.
We are estimating Seneca is 1-2 years old and this is her first litter. She will be spayed soon and the vet will confirm her age.
Seneca is learning social skills from her foster brother and sisters. A big thank you to Seneca's foster and all the fosters in our group. We couldn't save dogs without them!
A note about mange: All dogs have the mite that causes mange. A healthy dog's immune system can keep mites under control where we don't even know they exist. When dogs are neglected, their immune system weakens and cannot fight off an overpopulation of the mites.
