My vet paid her the highest compliment. He said an adopter would be lucky to have such a nice dog as a pet. He has not said that about other fosters I have had. Roxie loves her food, loves to ride in the car, would prefer to get out of the car when driver goes into a store. She learned quickly that she has to ride in the back seat. She loves to sit in my lap in the evening, but if I tell her no, its ok. She would be great as an only dog, but gets along with some dogs. She is high energy, likes to grab the other dog's toy and run with it just for fun. Life hasn't always been good for Roxie. She was dumped in a neighborhood after having puppies. Two little girls, ages 7 and 10, rescued her and brought her to their grandmother's house. She is indeed a people person and prefers her human to her doggie housemates. She is bossy with her housemates and would be considered an alpha personality, but so loving, definitely has a sense of humor. She does not like being separated from her human. Loves kids, Appears to ignore cats (at least she did in vet's office when tested), Good with large and small dogs (the grandmother had a Pekingese and dachshund).
