Meet lovely Luna!
She is a very sweet girl who would love to meet you and come live with you! Luna has gained weight since these pictures were taken and is doing great! You see, Luna has Enzymatic Pancreatic Insufficiency, or EPI. She does not absorb food or nutrients unless a special powder is mixed with her food. If so, all is well, and she stays healthy and happy. As long as this is done she is just fine. The powder is not that expensive, $76.00 and will last one to two months. The foster will explain in detail and assist adopters on her care, and where to obtain the powder. It is not that uncommon, but this is the first dog we have had with this condition.
Luna knows how to use a pet door and is house and crate trained. She gets along fine with her foster brothers and sister, but would also be fine as an only dog. Some do not do well alone, but we think she would be fine. She walks nicely on a leash, and will chase a ball but so far has not brought it back. She sleeps through the night and is not a barker or whiner. If you think Luna would fit into your household, please fill out an application!
