Lena is a gorgeous German Shepard Mix, very sweet, affectionate, loyal and loves being around people. She was adopted as an adorable pup from a huge municipal shelter and dumped at the county high kill. A friend of the rescue saw her and alerted us before she was euthanized.
Lena is a small girl, and loves to play with other dogs, and also loves to roll over for tummy rubs from her human. She may have some bull terrier in her, like the Target dog, or Min Pin, we are not sure. She has dainty little paws and loves to prance. Lena is very entertaining to watch!
She's great with kids and loves to play with other dogs. She has never showed any signs of aggression towards people, but doesn't like to be approached by other dogs when on a leash. If she's off leash she's all about playing and having fun. Dog parks are her favorite places.
Lena is crate trained and house broken.
She was tested positive for heart-worm and has been treated with the slow kill option and is doing great with no side effects. The heart-worm condition doesn't really seem to bother her at all and she lives a regular, happy life. She loves running and chasing birds and squirrels in our backyard.
The heart-worm treatment is covered by the German Shepard Rescue of Central Texas.
