Geo is an adorable young male looking for love. He was abandoned at a high kill shelter and was absolutely terrified. He got him just in time!
He loves other dogs, and will play all day if he could. His favorite thing seems to be to get them to chase him around the yard.
Geo is very sweet, but needs someone who understands him, and will give him confidence, structure, boundaries and be a strong leader he can respect. He may not do well with small children, as quick movements from humans can make him nervous, and we all know how children move quickly and are not always predictable. In the right setting, Geo will be a wonderful, sweet and loyal pet.
He can be protective of his food bowl if you move to quickly and startle him, another reason small active children are probably not a good idea. He is eating really well now, and starting to fill out. He was terribly underweight when he was rescued. If you think you could provided the right environment for this deserving, beautiful boy, please fill out an app.
The vet who tested him for heartworms said it was so low that giving preventative monthly should take care of it, but we are still doing the slow kill to be safe, which will be provided to the adopter.
