Delgado, which means thin in Spanish, was very skinny when rescued. However, that is no longer the case as he weighs in at 86 lbs. He is bilingual (Spanish and English) for commands. He loves to play chase with balls, and will gently take treats. He will roll over to give you his tummy anytime to get a belly rub. He sleeps on the floor, a dog pad and even in bed to snuggle if you like cuddling. His favorite thing to do is to go for walks and will walk right beside you without pulling on the leash. He enjoys riding in the car and sticking his head out of the window to feel the air. He is the perfect companion.
He does not care for cats or really small dogs. If he is walking on leash he will not pull towards them, however in his own yard he will give chase. He is very smart, strong and fast. For the past 2 1/2 months he has been fostered with 2 GSD and 1 Chow with no incidents from him.
He would make a great addition to a family with someone who will walk and play with him but mostly who will give him love. He loves to be indoors and is create trained. Please fill out the application below if we could be a family!
