Comet is such a sweet heart! He is very shy at first, but warms up to you.
He was soooo thin when he came to rescue, but is eats like a champ and has gained those much needed pounds. He is is doing great on the slow kill method for his heart worms and will be tested soon to see if he is done! We expect him to make a full recovery with no lasting side effects.
Comet is very gentle and would probably be fine with larger children, but because of his size he might not be ok around really small ones. He did not seem very interested in Moses, the office cat at the vet's office, so he might be ok with cats. Comet uses a pet door to go in and out of his own room he shares with his friend, and was fine being in a kennel at the vet. This poor guy has had a rough life, but things are looking up for him now.
