Chase came to us with a pretty bad skin condition that is clearing up nicely.
He has a pretty moderate energy level unless you start playing crazy with him. He loves to be on the couch and cuddle with his humans and also loves playing with other dogs. Chase is still learning boundaries and we have to stop him from playing too rough occasionally, which is typical of puppy-hood. Chase hasn't been around cats yet, but at this young age it is likely he can be trained.
He is small now due to age and the malnutrition, but he will be gaining weight now that he's getting proper nutiriton and care. We are not sure of his size at adulthood, but whatever size he is, he will be darn cute!
If you have the time, effort and commitment for this little guy who had a very rough start in life, but who is ready to begin again, let us know and fill out an application to adopt.
Puppies need extra time that maybe some older dogs would not. Consider your work schedule, family commitments, and your own energy level before applying for a puppy. Chase would benefit from obidence class and a routine around house, crate, and potty training. It is also important that all family members understand puppy traits like mouthing, chewing, and leash training needs.
