Brooke - Young FemaleBrookie Brooke is a little timid at first but has a beautiful and happy soul! She was adopted 3 years ago but was returned because the adopters weren't able to work on her timidness when she went for walks.
Since then, Brooke has not looked back on her previous life - her tail is up, she wags it alot, wants to play with Copper who is also being fostered with the same family. She LOVES to go on walks and bounces happily along side the pack. She and her Foster-Sister went jogging the other day and it was a bit of work at first; she wasn't used to being out and about and running along side anyone - she'd catch a smell in the air and try to vear onto the grass or at a light pole for a quick sniff - which of course created her Foster Mom to vear in that direction but her feet moving forward thus almost falling on her face! But once her Four-Legged Foster Sister taught her the rules for jogging, it was all open road from there! She makes a great watch dog. Brooke hears everything and barks at the window if somebody walks by. She is ever attentive and alert. But when she is told "No! Stop Barking" she prances over to the Naysayer - ok, well it may take the Naysayer a few "No's!" as the chorus of 4 dogs ever being diligent in the Watch Duty may be a little loud for them all to hear the "No!". She can be a little skittish with sudden movements as if she was hit - but after being at her Foster Family's a few days, that seems to be getting better. She definitely is starved for affection. She will quietly come up to you and give you a gentle lick on your arm, hand or leg and then looks at you with those beautiful amber eyes pleading for a pet or a scratch behind her ears or butt. She needs to be around people or other dogs so her best environment is with another dog for her to play with in her Furever home. | Quick StatsName: Brooke
