Thanks to the Mosers for driving out to Dripping to help transport both to and home from the event. Thanks to Michelle and Margaret for braving that humidity and helping set up in spite of having other commitments. Thanks to Michele for transporting and hauling the equipment needed and to me for helping her unload that stuff from her car. Next year, we should set up by the street! Park and unload!
Thanks to everyone who brought the fosters. The kids were especially great at getting water for the dogs.
Now let's announce some awards:
Funniest event at the event award: Sorry Christina, goes to you for the waterfall from the tent! You had such a great sense of humor about it!
The styling award: Timothy & Brent for new haircuts. Too bad we don't have a photo to post!
The sweetest and most mellow pup: Miss Honey!
The dog most likely to succeed in swimming: Rebel!
Best attitude for putting up with the crowd of fosters all over one another: Miss Millie
Good sport award: Ida who put up with the other canines who got all the attention!
Many, many thanks to Kristen Hyink at Lofty Dog and rescue coordinator of Barkitecture, who invited us to participate in the event, and to Jon and Tami Michalik, Lofty Dog owners. Animal Lovers of Austin is a wonderful organization.
